Once the anchor is set free, SARA automatically repositions the chain, so your anchor returns to the boat in the proper orientation, ready to seat securely in the anchor roller or anchor well and ready for the next deployment.

SARA couldn't be a product that only worked in perfect conditions. It had to withstand saltwater, heavy loads, and the relentless demands of life on the water.

There's an environmental benefit, too. Without SARA attached, a snagged anchor is often pulled at an angle that can tear through coral or other fragile marine habitats. By changing the direction of the pull, SARA helps the anchor release from underneath the obstruction instead of ripping through it, helping protect the seabed while making retrieval easier and safer.

Preparing for the release
When your anchor gets stuck, SARA changes the direction of pull. SARA allows the chain to shift to the opposite end of the anchor, changing the angle of pull to help free the anchor from the direction it became lodged or snagged.
The Release
When it's time to move, SARA shifts the chain to the front of the anchor, changing the angle of pull so it comes free from the seabed, while helping protect fragile marine habitats and reducing the chance of leaving an anchor, or broken coral, behind.
The Retrieval
As the anchor comes up, SARA automatically repositions the chain so the anchor returns to the boat in the proper orientation, ready to seat securely in the anchor roller and anchor well and ready to deploy again.
